Working with the IACUC: Writing an Animal Protocol has been released in an updated edition, which includes references to the the new standards of the 5th edition BMBL and an expansion of sections on euthanasia and injection and blood collection. The USDA Animal Welfare Act and Public Health Service policy and guidelines require training for investigators who work with animals in research, and this resource can help meet those requirements.
